When the going gets tough the tough get going. That is probably the motto that marks the daily routine of Señor Ventura Escobar Cortés, owner of Fco. Escobar e Hijos S.L., a Spanish contractor based in Don Benito, Extremadura.His company is specialized in providing farming services and earth moving equipment, in Spain and Portugal. The 30 high horse power tractors are non-stop busy from February to November.

“My main worry is that my machines stop working: I am a service provider, reliability is key to me”. He continues “I choose Alliance tires because they have the highest load index” he says bluntly. “I need technology that performs good on the field but that does not give up when it is time to ride on the road. My machines work 24h per day, there is no room for downtime”.Mr. Escobar was looking for premium technology tires with excellent traction and high resistance to punctures and he decided to fit his John Deere 8420 tractor with a set of Alliance Agriflex 372 IF (600/70R30), specifically designed to carry more load with the same pressure. “Alliance Agriflex 372 IF presents a special wear resistance compound for long tread life” explains ATG expert who supported Mr. Escobar in finding out best solutions for his daily challenges. “Its steel-belted carcass shows a superior puncture resistance, with an outstanding behavior when it is time to work hard”.“The bead is very resistant, it looks like the first day, no signs of cuts. I love it” confesses Escobar. “The bead area is really strong, that means it gives a much better bead seating and decreases the risk of slippage on the rim with high horse power and low inflation pressure” confirms ATG engineer.

Great traction, better fuel efficiency, minimum wear. But what if you have a professional eager to go the extra mile and get an even higher load index? “No worries, users can always go for VF technology and get the highest load index on the market” explains ATG engineer. And so did Mr. Escobar: a brand new set of Alliance 372 VF (600/70R30) for 2 tractors is on its way, waiting to be fitted on his machines.“Alliance VF has 170D load index, it means that tires can carry up to 6000 kg each at 65 km per hour. Same kind of product in competitors’ range is 147 D, so 3075 kg per tire. Almost double value”, explains ATG engineer. He concludes: “By using VF tires customers can enjoy a double advantage: if they keep the same inflation pressure the can increase the load capacity and, in case they do not need more load capacity, they can always decrease inflation pressure to have more traction, fuel saving, less soil compaction”.

After successful experience with floatation technology, Mr. Escobar is now a loyal customer and he is fitting Alliance tires even on smaller machines (he has just bought his first A365 650/65R42). “I have to be honest, in Spain Alliance is not the cheapest option you can find. But if I consider how much I can delay the changing time and the technical support that I receive every time I ask for it, there is no better value for money”.
