WEEKLY, as I pray with the sta�, I’m reminded of the golden opportunities we have to DEMONSTRATE and to make a DECLARATION that, as Christians, we’re adopted in LOVE – via the Cross.

Through the gifts of our many faithful friends, we just celebrated 5 years in The Lighthouse Residence for our adult students. WOW! Looking forward to a Note Burning Celebration – Still Trusting!

The purpose of Adult and Teen Challenge has not changed. We’re committed to providing understanding and wisdom from God’s Word. We check to make certain we’re including encouragement through a close encounter with God. During these last �ve months, some have come and moved on. Those are not forgotten and we’ve committed to pray for their decisions and their life journey. Our thoughts don’t allow the Covid-19 ordeal to side track us. Thanks to you all for faithfully helping to Give Hope to each student.

ADULT & TEEN CHALLENGE DALLAS: Solutions for Life Controlling Issues

On August 2 a young lady greeted me to express thanks. You all need to know – we’re determined to help anyone receive Hope through Adult and Teen Challenge. We had found availability for her at The Ladies’ Home in Pascagoula, Mississippi. She has graduated – now back home with her family and two children – working and involved at the church. WOW! Another Victory report. Thanks!

This is the kind of stu� that emphasizes these two ONE THINGS:A. Psalm 27:5 – One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek – that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life”…B. Philippians 3:13-14 – One thing I do, forgetting those things behind and reaching forward to those things… to those things which are ahead” – That’s Good”!

habits and behavior. When I was 37, I was run over by a car and I got hooked on prescription medications. Then I self medicated with marijuana. This led to a charge that brought me to Adult and Teen Challenge. If it wasn’t for what I thought was a bad deal, my eyes and soul would have never known the love of Jesus. - Christopher

I was lost in darkness and a slave to sin for over 20 years. Chasing the �eeting pleasures of this world had left me bitter and hopeless. I knew I was in trouble and needed help from a power greater than myself. I cried out to God for forgiveness and direction. He led me to the ministry of Adult and Teen Challenge. Since coming here, I have developed a genuine relationship with my God and Savior, Jesus Christ. I now have hope for an abundant life, now and in heaven.
