Optional Math Co-Processor• The PC 6300 PLUS supports theIntel 80287 math co-processor forimproved performance in heavilymathematical applications. Byexecuting mathematical functions,the 80287 optimizes the perform-ance of the 80286 as well.

Memory Enhancements• The motherboard accepts addi-tional 256 KB RAM chips for amaximum of 1 MB.• Up to three RAM expansionboards of 2 MB each can be addedfor a system maximum of 7 MB.These boards are compatible withthe LOTUS-Intel AboveTM Boardspecifications.

MS -DOS 3.1This operating system is upwardcompatible with MS-DOS 2.11 andeffectively equivalent to PC-DOS3.1. It runs thousands of applica-tions programs currently on themarket. It provides file manage-ment, support for networking, pro-gram chaining, device driverenhancements, and many otherfeatures.

New networking commands inMS-DOS 3.1 include JOIN, LABEL,SHARE, and SUBST. Enhancedcommands include CHMOD, SIZE,and TREE, plus new subroutineli brary calls.

The software development set pro-vides the fundamental UNIXSystem V building blocks forprofessional applications softwaredevelopment, including a C lan-guage compiler, loader and linker,an assembler, and a UNIX SystemV development tool set (SCCS,MAKE, YACC, lex, etc.).

Transparent Shared File System:When both MS-DOS 3.1 and UNIXSystem V are installed, all filesshare a common directory struc-ture. They are viewed and treatedidentically, and can be accesseddirectly or through the User Inter-face under either operating systemwith full file security capabilities.

Warranty PeriodThe AT&T PC 6300 PLUS systemunit and keyboard carry a one-yearwarranty from the date of pur-chase; the monitor carries a 90-daywarranty. AT&T Information Sys-tems, or any authorized dealer, willreplace any defective part free ofcharge within the warranty period.

Warranty ServiceThe full strength of AT&T's nation-wide service organization andauthorized dealer network sup-ports the PC 6300 PLUS. If a prob-lem requires repair or mainte-nance, a user may contact the AT&TInformation Systems ServiceOrganization. If on-site service isrequired, it will be provided underwarranty. The unit may also be takento any AT&T authorized dealer.

Post Warranty MaintenanceServiceAT&T Information Systems offersseveral Equipment MaintenanceAgreement Plans either directly orthrough their AT&T authorizeddealer network. Both per-occurrenceand contract plans are available.
