Asha for Education

was born on the campus of Univ of Calif. – Berkeley,

in the summer of 1991,now has more than 60 chapters world-wide,

has disbursed over $6 million between 1995 and 2004,

supporting over 410 projects in India,impacting thousands of underprivileged children,

andwith thousands of grassroots volunteers on the field

in India

The Dallas Chapter

Started in 1997,by a group of like-minded professionals

and students,has channeled thousands of dollars to

deserving projects, providing basic education to more than a

thousand underprivileged children.

Asha for Education received the highest

possible rating (69.8/70) from Charity Navigator (USA) in 2004 and 2005.
