FROM THE POTENTATE’S DESK
I can’t believe it’s already September! Where does the time go? If you are reading this, we are already at MASA. The MA-SA kickoff party was a lot of fun, and very well attended. The food was excellent, a big thank you to all of those who helped with the event. After we return from MASA, we have the Car Cruise and Bike show on 18 Sept 2016.
Tickets for wall art giveaway and more info are available at
the shrine office. We have our Birthday Dinner and Temple
Meeting on 23 Sept 2016 with a lot of information to share.
Remember, a knowledgeable membership is a strong mem-
bership.
Oktoberfest will be held on Saturday 01 October 2016 and is
sponsored by Samuel Adams. It is going to be a great event.
This will also be the last stop of their Stein Hoisting competi-
tion. It is a one-liter glass stein filled with beer. It is held
with a straight arm as long as possible. Please come out and
support your temple at this great event.
We will be reopening the ace of clubs on Wednesday 14 Sept
2016. The new caterer will be onboard with excellent food.
There will be fun and festivities for all. Lady Marsha and I
know we couldn’t accomplish all this without the help of ded-
icated members, so thank you to everyone working hard to
make Ali Ghan a success.

The regularly stated session of Ali Ghan will be held on Fri-
day, September 23, 2016 at 8:00pm in the main Ballroom
of the Ali Ghan Temple.
Imperial Bylaws require that to gain admission to the meet-
ing a noble must be in good standing and present his cur-
rent, paid dues card at the door.

To all Railroad Unit nobles, due to other circumstances our
September meeting will not have a meal. It is a meeting
only, at 7pm. Also, we are preparing to send the 2017 cal-
endars to the printer and will be ready to start selling in
September.
The 2016 Octoberfest is on schedule for Oct. 1st so be
looking for the advertisement in this addition of the Red
Fez. Hope to see everyone come out and enjoy the activi-
ties for this event next month.
We only have a couple of train runs left for this summer
and we will notify each noble for that information.
Our next spaghetti dinner is on September 12, so come on
out and enjoy and also lend a hand.

Our meeting was held Mon-day August 8th at 7:30 PM at our Club House. Our discus-sion at meeting was on how our Gun Bash went and how
we can do better.
MASA Virginia Beach is coming up Sep-tember 5th thru the 10th.
Our next Famous Roast Beef Dinner is still $8.50. Will be on Monday September 26th. The fellowship is GREAT! & our ladies des-serts will be better than ever! We had al-most 100 meals to serve and never ran
out!!!! This year’s dinners left are: October 24th- No-vember 28th. Starting 5pm till 7pm or until we run out!
Our 222 Party is on Saturday Sept. 17th this year, in the Memorial Room, 8 till 11 pm. Members and guest of members are wel-come. Tickets are $25.00 a couple. Buy
them from members or at the door! Open bar, also beer and light refreshments plus a LIVE Band the “Amarillo” will play for dancing and easy listening! This is the best DEAL in town!!!!!!
Our sick and distress: Noble Bud Starkey’s wife Jeanne has passed away! Our prayers are with No-ble Bud Starkey and family! Noble Earl E. Miller has passed away, Joyce may God be with you and your family!
