This lecture considers whether prayer begins in

private or in community. Or, perhaps both? In viewing

prayer and worship through the artistic lens, we also find suggestions of how

we learned to pray. Is it the example of Jesus or of the fellow disciples of Jesus?Or, again, perhaps both?
