Also of interest is that New Yorks governor (a Roman Catholic) signed into law a bill that would permit a doctor to kill a baby one minute before it emerges from the birth canal. “The Real Crime”

The news this past week was filled with the confronta-tion of Covington Latin’s teenagers, with a native American, and a black racist group. There was a “rush to judgement” that even CNN admitted was wrong, and there is much debate still taking place. The bottom line, no one was injured (other than hurt feelings), and peace was restored.

Lost amid the confrontation was any reference to the real crime that continues to take place every day in America. The reason the students were there to begin with was to pro-test America’s holocaust. Since 1973, when the odious Roe v Wade became law, millions of unborn Americans have been killed every single day. Are we more concerned about “hurt feelings” than killing our children?

In a semi related story, Notre Dame’s president an-nounced that all of the murals that depict Christopher Colum-bus will no longer be displayed because some people are “offended” by it. I wonder if any of Notre Dame’s staff or trus-tees participated in the March for Life rally that was largely ignored by the media?

We can’t change the past or undue the crimes of our ancestors. No thinking individual would condone slavery, bro-ken treaties, and genocide. But I wonder if America survives for another 150 years that our descendants will look back at the way we tolerated abortion? Also of interest is that New York’s governor (a Roman Catholic) signed into law a bill that would permit a doctor to kill a baby one minute before it emerges from the birth canal. BTW, this is the same state that bans large soda drinks because they are “unhealthy.”
