TI1e Accounts have been prepared on the basis of historical costs and do not take into account changing money values, or, except where stated, current valuation of non-current assets. The accounting policies have been consistently applied, unless otllerwise stated.

(a) Income Tax

The Association is exempt of Income Tax under Section 23(g) (iii) Income Tax Assessment Act.

(b) Borrowings

The Association has not undertaken any borrowings and has given no mortgages or charges over its Assets.

INDEPENDENT AUDITOR'S REPORT TO THE MEMBERS OF

MORETON MEDIA GROUP INC

We have audited 1he accounts of Moreton Media Group Inc for the year ended 30 June 2011. The Committee are responsible for the preparation and presentation of fue fmancial report and the information contained therein We have conducted an independent audit of the fmancial report in order to express an opinion on it to the members.

Our audit has been conducted in accordance with Australian Auditing Standards to provide reasonable assurance as to whether the accounts are ftee of material misstatement. Our procedures included examination, on a test basis, of evidence supporting the amounts and other disclosures in the accounts, and the elevation of accounting policies and significant accounting estimates. These procedures have been undertaken to form an opinion as to whether, in all material respects, the accounts are presented fairly in accordance with Australian Accounting Concept' and Standards and statutory requirements so as to present a view of which is consistent with our understanding of its fmancial position and the results of its operations.

The audit opinion expressed in this report has been formed on the above basis.

Qualification

As is common for organisations of this type, it is not practicable for the association to maintain an effective system of internal control over contributions, donations, bequests and fundraising receipts until their initial entry in the accounting records. Accordingly, our audit in relation to these items was limited to amounts recorded,

The responsibility for accounting for GST rests with the association. We have not reviewed, nor been asked to review, the GST accounting. Our engagement is limited to accepting ihe association's GST summary figures. We will not be able to verify the accuracy of the figures and infonnation provided, and the association must bear full responsibility for them.

Audit Opinion

In our opinion, subject to the above qualification, the financial accounts present fairly the fmancial position of Moreton Media Group Inc for the year ended 30 June 2011 and the results of its operations for the period then ended in accordance with applicable Statements of Accounting Concepts, applicable Accounting Standards and the Association Incorporation Act (Qld).
