The magazine in its entirety is art in itself. Art that is captured by the eye almost similar to a camera. Art should be an impulse or something that just happens. A moment that is so special and beautiful that it needs to be captured. Any f inished piece of art should not be questioned and should not feel as if it is done or not. In art, tools are needed to capture any moment. Tools are crucial and the best brands should be used. It is diff icult to tell which brand is the best, and it takes years of experience with all kinds of brands to f inally decide which is the best. Keep in mind experience is essential and practice is key.

For a beginning artist, it is hard to understand what tools are used for particular materials. Supportive tools and materials used in art makes the process of buying these tools very easy. With this thought in mind; it is a challenge for an amateur artist to know if a cheap tool is better than an expensive tool. Although purchasing higher quality materials result in higher results, which help to build your knowledge and artistic process. Building and adding supplies helps to expand ideas and quicken the process of finishing projects. Many artists start off using paper then as years progress artist start learning more about the

properties of paper. Such as texture and finish, which can be described as glossy, bumpy, smooth, or ribbed. These play a big part in the way that paints and other substances work well with the paper and which ones should be applied to each one. Artistic paper also comes in different forms that make it easier to travel with. A few different types are paper pads, books, rolls, and loose sheets. As an artistic experience with paper expands. The thought of moving on to a different drawing layouts leads them to find canvases to be the next logical choice. A canvas is made of cotton or even

linen which are the most desirable out of all the canvas varieties, since they are the easiest to require. They can either be bought or can be made by the artists themselves. Although the artist may only do this out of a custom size needs.

When an artist knows what artistic surface material he/she wants to use. Then the next choice is what drawing material they will need next. Graphite is always the first choice since that is what most artist start off first with in their whole carrier. After they have enough experience with pencils the next are oil pastels, charcoal, color pencils, and drawing pens. There are many other tools drawing tools and endless tools. Paints, bushes, painting knifes, watercolors and so many other items the list can be endless. An

artist searches for many new ideas of how to create a masterpiece for either a job or for themselves to expand their knowledge. Life is an experience and art is one that can always keep an artist busy.
