SQUARE PHARMACEUTICALS LTD BANGLADESH

INTROUDCTION:

SQUARE Pharmaceuticals Limited is the largest pharmaceutical company in Bangladesh and it has been continuously in the 1st position among all national and multinational companies since 1985. It was established in 1958 and converted into a public limited company in 1991. The sales turnover of SPL was more than Taka 11.46 Billion (US$ 163.71 million) with about 16.43% market share (April 2009– March 2010) having a growth rate of about 16.72%.

MISSION:

Mission is to produce and provide quality & innovative healthcare relief for people, maintain stringently ethical standard in business operation also ensuring benefit to the shareholders, stakeholders and the society at large.Objectives are to conduct transparent business operation based on market mechanism within the legal & social framework with aims to attain the mission reflected by our vision.

REASON FOR CHOOSING SQUARE PHARMACEUTICALS LTD BANGLADESH:

SQUARE is committed to ensure better life through quality medicine. SQUARE Pharmaceuticals Limited is the largest pharmaceutical company in Bangladesh and it has been continuously in the 1st position among all national and multinational companies since 1985., who provide free Medical campaign program for poor people and by producing medicine they save a lot of lives and earn huge amount of foreign exchange for our country.

CONCLUSION:

The sales turnover of SPL was more than Taka 11.46 Billion having a growth rate of about 16.72%. SQUARE supplies customized government medicine as per the requirement of Bangladesh government. They make Awareness building program for the rights of physically-challenged people and Vaccination & Breast feeding awareness to 3.3 million mothers.

INTRODUCTION :

PepsiCo Inc. is an American multinational food and beverage corporation headquartered in New York, United States, with interests in the manufacturing, marketing and distribution of grain-based snack foods, beverages, and other products. PepsiCo was formed in 1965 with the merger of the Pepsi-Cola Company and Frito-Lay, Inc. PepsiCo has since expanded from its namesake product Pepsi to a broader range of food and beverage brands, the largest of which includes an acquisition of Tropicana in 1998 and a merger with Quaker Oats in 2001—which added the Gatorade brand to its portfolio.

REASON FOR CHOOSING SQUARE PHARMACEUTICALS LTD BANGLADESH:

Pepsi is one of the world's most iconic and recognized consumer brands globally. In Bangladesh Pepsi is one of the leading soft drink brand. PepsiCo offers products to over 200 countries and territories. After independence the food habit of Bangladeshi people has been changed a lot. Besides our traditional food consumer of Bangladesh like to take western food also after 1980s.

CONCLUSION:

The financial report of pepsico inc. represents the net income US$ 6.74 billion (2013), total assets US$ 77.478 billion (2013) and total equity US$ 24.389 billion (2013). In Bangladesh a large amount of US$ is expend for soft drinks which a large portion goes to the pepsico inc. It also reinvest some of its revenue in sports sector for promotion.
