Our theme was influenced by a missing phone which was assumed stolen. The phone was later discovered by a classmate.

We wanted to question an actor about the mobile device which sparked the idea of doing an interrogation.

It then lead us to discuss other possible scripts such as crime/murder and theft.

Finally deciding on a accusation of drug dealing. This was decided because it was easier to do ,

as well as having more knowledge on the topic .

What influenced your choice of theme?

Originally we had planned to have it staged in an empty dark room, however we had to make do with a room full of light and computers.

The script wasn’t as well written as we had planned.

We had planned to have better lighting positions

As well as having more time to complete the project

How well did your final product meet with original proposals?

We needed to gain more knowledge about police customs and procedures. So we watched 2 episodes of ‘24 hours in police custody’ from this we learned more about what the routine was for investigations and we had more of an idea of the sort of questions asked during interrogations.

How well did you plan your production and what methods did you use?

Page 5: Assessment of preliminary task

I think this was an effective method because it gave us more insight as to what really happens during interrogations

This helped us because we could make our production piece more true to life.

We had something to base our script upon so that we didn’t have to make it up completely

Was this an effective method?
