Soundboard assembly:
Step 1.-
Sand the top until the desired thickness (between 2.4 and 2.6mm is
recommended) is achieved. Glue the entire bracing according to
the enclosed diagrams, eliminating all excess glue.
Step 2.-
Sand all the inside bracing until a rounded and even finish is
achieved, thus eliminating all the sharp edges from each of the
previously glued pieces; see Figure 2.

Neck to Top assembly:
Step 1.-
Cut the design of the head and adjust the top rebate in the neck
according to the final thickness of the top.
Step 2.-
Assemble the top so that it lies perfectly flush over the neck rebate
and align using the two grooves located on the underside and
surface of the top.

Preparation of the sides:
Step 1.-
Join the sides at the end-block, using only glue. Once the glue has
dried, set the end-block flush onto the sides.
Step 2.-
Glue the Sapele linings on the inside outline of the sides, from the
end-block to the area where the sides join the neck foot, leaving
space for the assembly of the neck. Start by gluing from the centre
of the sides (waist), and set the four pieces flush on both the top
and bottom of the sides.

Preparation of the back:
Step 1.-
Sand the back until the desired thickness is achieved (2.4 mm is
recommended). Next, glue the three inside reinforcements (braces)
according to the diagram. Glue on a curved surface so that the
back matches the curvature of the braces. Once they have dried,
glue the centre reinforcement (joint-cover), cutting and adjusting
the four pieces from the end of the neck heel to the end-block.
Step 2.-
Sand all the previously glued pieces, thus eliminating all sharp
edges, as seen in Figure 2.

Body Assembly:
Step 1.-
Mark the position of the 2 top transverse braces to know where to
make the rebate that will fix them to the lining. Dry join and clamp
the top to the sides inserting the sides on the neck and ensuring
that it is perfectly placed and square to the sides. After that you
can apply glue to the entire outline of the sides and clamp.
Step 2.-
Mark the position of back braces 1, 2 and 3 to know where to
make the rebate that will fix them to the lining. Dry join and clamp
the back to the sides ensuring that it is perfectly placed and square
to the sides. After that you can apply glue to the entire outline of
the sides and clamp.

Binding:
Step 1.-
Make a slot on the upper outline (Top/Side) of the dimensions of
the binding that will be used for the top, according to the diagram.
Step 2.-
Make a slot on the lower outline (Back/Side) of the dimensions of
the binding that will be used for the back, according to the
diagram.

10
Step 3.-
Make a slot on the outer part of the union of both sides, where the
end-block inlay will be set afterwards.
Step 4.-
Glue the bindings of the top and the back, moving from the neck
to the end-block so that the union between both is perfectly
centered in the middle of the slot at the end-block. Once the
bindings are dry, inlay the end-block strip by mitring the white
bindings, according to the enclosed diagram. Eliminate back
wood excess over the heel and prepare the area for the rosewood
heel cap. Glue the heel cap on the heel. Once it is dry work it to
the shape of the heel.

Fingerboard gluing:
Apply glue to the glueing side of the fingerboard and position it
over the neck, using the soundhole as a guide. Fret no. 12 should
coincide right where the sides meet the neck. Apply pressure for 24
hours.
Fretting:
Cut lengths of fretwire with a 5 mm overhang at each side. Apply
glue on the fingerboard slots and fit the frets into each one. Once
the glue is dry, cut the fret excess at each side of the fingerboard
and file and sand the edges of the fretwire flush with the
fingerboard. Next, file and sand the ends of the fret crowns to
achieve 45º bevel.

Sanding:
Thoroughly sand the entire guitar with fine grain sandpaper,
smoothing all the differences on the binding and completely
eliminating all excess glue..
Bridge gluing:
Step 1.-
Adjust the position for the nut between the fingerboard and the
headstock.
Step 2.-
Place the bridge so that it is perfectly aligned in the centre of the
guitar at a distance between the nut and the saddle of 650mm.
Exactly at the half, 325mm, it should coincide with the 12th fret.
Glue it to the top, applying pressure for 48 hours.

Tuning machine fitting and stringing:
Step1.-
Position the tuning machine over the drill holes of the head and
fasten it using the screws provided.
Step 2.-
Tie the strings starting with the bass strings from the bridge toward
the tuning machine. Tighten the strings and adjust the action with
both the nut and saddle to the desired height; 3mm at the position
of fret no. 12 is recommended.
Note:
The assembly should be carried out by an expert, because if the
steps are not followed correctly, the desired result might not be
attained.
In these instructions, a brief description of the process of assembling
a classical guitar is made, and the use of additional teaching
materials (books, videos, plans) is highly recommended for further
information.
ATTENTION! No adhesives or tools for assembly are included.
Remember that the adhesives and tools you select must be
appropriate for use with the different materials. If you have any
doubt, consult your local specialists. The manufacturer takes no
responsibility for improper use of the pieces provided, nor for the
result after assembling them.
