NOTE: In order to know where the posts need to be placed, check the numbers on them. If the posts are not marked, place the

single Supports on the ground to locate the markings for each post position and clearly set your bearings. (“Don´t attach yet, only

place them on the ground to begin with”).

Step 1: Install the anchor bases (15) with ½´´ X 3 ½´´ anchor bolts or lag bolts (B or C). Please see the “How to anchor your

pergola document” for all details. Set your posts (1 and 2) in the saddles of the anchor bases. Drill ø ¼´´ holes in the posts prior

to anchoring to facilitate the ratcheting of the hardware. After that, use 5/16´´ X 3´´ lag bolts (A) to attach each post to its

respective anchor base.

Step 2: Attach the wall mounted anchors (18) to the wall with ½´´ X 3 ½´´ anchor bolts or lag bolts (A or C).

All options of posts (No posts decorative trim, vertical posts decorative trim and horizontal posts decorative trim)

will be installed in the same way.

Step 3: Attach the single supports (3) to the posts with 3/8´´´x 7´´ bolts (E). Each part has a series of numbers that indicate where

to attach the part with the corresponding number.

Step 4: Put up the central support with in-between blocking (4) and the lateral support with in-between blocking (5), into the post

notches as shown and attach to the posts with the same bolts (E) used in step 3. Each part has a series of numbers that indicate

where to attach the part with the corresponding number.

Step 5: Attach the single supports to the supports with in-between blocking with 3/8´´ X 7´´ bolts (C).

Step 6: Attach the main knee braces (8) to the supports with 3/8´´ x 7´´ bolts (E) and to the posts with 3/8´´ x 9´´ Bolts (F). Each

part has a series of numbers that indicate where to attach the part with the corresponding number.

the back triangle to the support. Each part has a series of numbers that indicate where to attach the part with the corresponding

number.

Step 10: Attach the front triangle (6) to the posts with 3/8´´ x 6 ½´´ bolts (D) and to the supports with 3´´ deck screws (H). Each

part has a series of numbers that indicate where to attach the part with the corresponding number.

Step 11: Attach the secondary knee braces (9) to the triangle with 3/8´´ x 7´´ bolts (E) and to the posts with 3/8´´ x 9´´ Bolts (F)

and use 3/8´´ X 12´´ bolts to attach the secondary knee braces to the central post. Each part has a series of numbers that indicate

where to attach the part with the corresponding number.

Step 12: Use 5/16’’ x 3’’ lag bolts (A) to attach the ridge board (10) to the triangles. Each part has a series of numbers that

Step 13: Attach the rafters (11) to the ridge board with 5/16’’ x 3’’ lag bolts (A). After that use 5/16’’ x 3’’ lag bolts (A) to attach

the metal plaques (16) to the support with in-between blocking and attach the metal plaques to the rafter with 5/16´´ X 2 ½´´

bolts. Each part has a series of numbers that indicate where to attach the part with the corresponding number.

Step 14: Attach the roof boards (12) to the triangles and the rafters with 6” x 1 5/8’’deck screws (I). Each part has a series of

numbers that indicate where to attach the part with the corresponding number.
