Magazine 1

The title is big and bold meaning it is eye-catching and easy to recognise.

A brief introduction of who is featured in the magazine so it is easier for fans of that celebrity to find them.

Magazine cover is Charli XCX who’s name is also featured in bold so she can be recognised easily.

Magazine is about music and fashion, that’s why they have a singer on the cover who is also in some sort of fashion shoot layout.

The magazine’s layout is simple and not overcrowded with information.

Magazine 2

A nice clear shot is used of Robert Downey JR along with his name next to him so people can recognise who he is.

The colour scheme works well as everything is clear and matches. The text stands out against Robert’s suit.

Brief insights are given into what some of the topics within the magazine are about.

The white background is effective because Robert stands out against it, making him the centre of attention.

Magazine 3The colour scheme is the same throughout the cover if the magazine making it flow.

Brief insight is given about what’s include in the magazine to draw the reader in.

Images are used of what you will learn inside to capture the reader, and give them a brief insight.

The cover photo is effective because its not an actual photo but has been painted which links with the theme of the cover.

Magazine 4

This magazine has more than one person on the front cover and isn’t a mid or close up shot. A long shot is used of the five character, in a variety of placements.

The name of the five people is effective as the guy at the front is holding it under his arm making it stand out more and grab your attention.

The title of the magazine is clear, and stands out.

Some pictures are used on the front to show you who else is featured within the magazine meaning the reader knows what's included without reading the magazine first catching their attention faster.

Brief introductions to what else are featured at the bottom of the magazine, some in rhetorical question form making the reader want to find out the answer.

Magazine 5The title of the magazine is clear and easy to read.

A close up of the actress Jennifer Lawrence is used as she is the main attention of the magazine.

A brief introduction is given about Jennifer Lawrence.

The titles of some of the topics included in the magazine are features on the side so the reader can know what’s inside.

The background is not busy making Jennifer Lawrence stand out. Also this makes the text easy to read.

It’s effective because it’s a simple design and not distracting.
