Be ready with your US$25 and note that they only accept US currency issued after the year 2000. b. 4. AMIC-UGM Secretariat Room

Located at the Kresna Room, Ground floor (may be accessed from the corridor on the way to the ballroom or thru the arcade area, 3 rooms after Pub Med). As in past conferences, AMIC and UGM will NOT be able to provide any photocopying, fax or printing services. If you require these services, please proceed to the Business Centre on the 1st floor (2nd level) of the hotel, near the function rooms. Please note that neither AMIC nor UGM will be responsible for the cost of these services.

5. Registration

Registration begins on 4 July, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Secretariat Room. There will be an hour break before registration commences again from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. outside the Melia Amarta Ballroom.

6. Opening Day registration, please go to the appropriate table:

Pre-registered/paid Delegates: Please queue here to collect your name tags if you have already registered online. On-site Registration: Please queue here if you are registering and paying on-site. Only cash payments will be accepted. On-site registration will be on cash basis in US or SG dollars: - USD $500 (SGD628) for non-members - USD $250 (SGD 315) for members - USD $225 (SGD 283) for student non-members - USD $175 (SGD 220) for student members Name tags will only be given upon registration/conference payment. Local Delegates – All transactions concerning Indonesia-based participants will be handled by the UGM secretariat. Please proceed to their table. VIP Registration – is a special desk for AMIC Board members and Plenary Speakers. Their conference name tags and bags may be collected here.

7. Conference kits

After completing the Registration process, proceed to collect your conference kit by presenting your Conference Identification Card to this table. Participants are allowed to collect only their own conference kit, you cannot ask someone to collect this for you.

8. Dress code

Delegates are expected to be in smart casual or business attire during the plenary and parallel sessions. Please be in evening wear or national dress for the gala dinner. Kindly refrain from attending the sessions in shorts, T-shirts and slippers.

9. Opening Session

Venue: Amarta Ballroom Date and Time: 4 July 2013, 2:00 p.m. (All must be seated by 1:30 p.m.) Note: Please switch off or turn your mobile phones into silent mode.

10. Coffee Breaks

There will be morning and afternoon coffee breaks served during the conference. Each coffee break is 20 minutes long, plus a 10-minute allowance for going to another parallel session room. Kindly refer to the conference program for the specific breakout rooms of the parallel sessions.

11. Lunch

Lunch will served on 5-7 July from 12:30 to 2:00pm. You are required to wear your name tag in the lunch area at all times. Venue will be announced at the Plenary Session on July 5. Those who need to go to the nearby mosque for Friday prayers, may opt to excuse themselves before the end of Parallel Session A.

12. Gala Dinner

13. Annual AMIC General Membership Meeting (AGM) Only for AMIC members Date: 5 July 2013 Venue: AMARTA Ballroom B Time: 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.

14. Parallel Sessions

Each parallel session will be 90 minutes long and each paper presenter will be allocated approximately 10 minutes, followed by a combined Q&A forum of 30 minutes. The daily programme for each break out session will be available each day at the session venues. Please check the schedule and ensure that you are in the right room. A laptop will be provided in every parallel session room. Delegates are expected to bring their own thumb drive/USB and hand it to the technician at least 5 minutes before the start of your session.

15. Borobudur Tour

The AMIC-UGM Conference Secretariat is happy to announce that an optional tour of Borobudur has been arranged at a discounted rate. For only USD26 (75% off market rate), delegates can sign up for a tour of the world famous temples on July 7 at 1pm, right after the closing lunch of the conference. The tour package includes a bus trip to Borobudur and entrance fee to the temple. Slots are limited to 60 persons, registered participants and their spouses/companions will be given priority booking.
