Celebration of Learning Our Celebration of Learning was a great success. It was a time where we celebrated and acknowledged the achievement of our students. This year we had Jason Taylor, a former student of the school and Rugby League star, assist on the day. It was very pleasing to see the large number of parents attending – your support is greatly valued. Congratulations to all the students who received awards on the day and thank you to all for your effort throughout the year.

Students on Track V8 Supercars Wow! What a great day we had at the Sydney 500 at Homebush last Friday! We were able to see the cars race around the track, hear and feel the thundering sound of their engines as they flew past us and soak up the smells of petrol. We had the chance to look at a wide variety of cars on exhibition including grass cars, hot rods, drift cars, utes, 4WD's and dirt bikes. All the students had a fantastic time and can't wait until next year when we can do it all again!

3-6 Fun Day AMF Bowling and Laser

Skirmish… One hundred and twenty eight students from Year 3 -6 travelled to AMF Bowling and Laser Skirmish on Monday 8th December 2014 to participate in our Annual End of Year Fun Day to celebrate their successes and achievement throughout the year. It was a fun filled vibrant environment with music, dancing and plenty of laughs. Teachers were kept very busy with counting toes as some students did not roll the ball but dropped it and expected it to roll. One teacher in particular had to take two turns down the bowling alley to remove the dead ball. All in all it was a fabulous fun day enjoyed by both students and teachers.

Milo T20 Cricket Gala Day Students from Year 3 -6 participated in the Milo Cricket School Fun Day on Thursday 27th November 2014. Students were placed into fun teams with selected names from the KFC T20 League such as Sixers, Thunders, Hurricanes, Stars etc. Each team played 4 games throughout the day on eight different fields. The main aim of this program was to develop fundamental cricket skills such as bowling, batting, fielding, catching and throwing the ball while having fun. Some students also developed fundamental dancing and coordination skills while dancing to the music. Overall the day was very successful with perfect cricket weather and many budding cricket enthusiasts. The students and some teachers seem to be ready for the coming summer and the cricket season. Remember too much cricket is barely enough...

Preschool Graduation… On Monday 15th December our preschool graduation was held in the hall. It was great to see so many of our family and friends attend. The preschool children were very excited and were all very happy to receive their certificates. The graduation was followed by a Christmas party and the Christmas raffle draw. We wish all of our preschool students the best of luck in Kindergarten in 2015 and know that they will transition into their new surroundings with confidence and ease. Congratulations and Good Luck 2014 Preschoolers…
