The Ashby Traffic Signage System comprisesstock, bespoke, temporary and non-highwaysigns. All of our standard traffic signs aremanufactured in compliance with current UKregulations – BS EN 12899-1:2007 and BS 8442. Our in-house production facilityprovides capacity for small one-off orders,large multi-sign contracts with scheduleddeliveries, or overflow work.

Temporary Traffic SignageAshby manufacture Temporary Traffic Signsto meet BS 8442, using Class RA 2 and ClassRA 1 vinyls that are pressure applied onto3mm aluminium plate, powder coated greyon the reverse for added durability and longlife. All signs are available for postmounting or with frames. Frames areavailable in triangular, square andrectangular formats in various sizes – seepage 141 for the complete range.

Class RA 1 Engineering Grade vinyl(the old BS 873 Class 2)For use on permanent roadtraffic signs and delineators,street nameplates, safetymarkings and othereveryday signing that isless critical for road users.Available in white, yellow,red, blue, green, brown andorange and backed by a 7 year guarantee.

Class RA 2 High Intensity vinyl(the old BS 873 Class 1)The standard material forthe majority of roadtraffic signs.Available in white, yellow,red, blue and green andbacked by a 10-12 year 3M guarantee.

Bespoke Traffic SignageOur bespoke standard Traffic Signs aremanufactured using Class RA 2 High Intensityvinyl or Class RA 1 Engineering Grade vinyl thatis pressure applied onto 3mm aluminium plate,powder coated grey on the reverse for addeddurability and long life. Supplied with clipextrusion on the reverse for post mounting.

Our design team have the specialist knowledgeand experience necessary to produce highquality technical working drawings that meetBS EN 12899-1:2007 and BS 8442.
