SABIS® EducationalSummer Camp

The SABIS® Educational Summer Camp offers students aged 10-18 years a motivating, inspiring, and exciting opportunity to learn, grow, and shine. The camp takes place at Ashwicke Hall School.

In 2018, over 200 SABIS® and non-SABIS® students from 32 nations around the world travelled to Ashwicke Hall School in Bath, U.K. to enjoy the summer camp. Students benefited from a curriculum packed with morning academic classes; cultural, historical, and educational experiences; and many other exciting activities.

“It was the best adventure of my life. I visited the most beautiful historical places. It was amazing to meet other campers from different countries. I really wish I could do everything all over again!”

Emiliya Ismayilzada, ISC-Dubai, U.A.E.

“Thank you for giving my son a unique and wonderful experience. He visited a lot of places and learned a lot of stuff.”

WHY ASHWICKE HALL SCHOOL?

“Our son came back super excited with so many stories to share with us. He made so many new friends and really had the time of his life.”

Reem Al Alami, Summer Camp parentfrom Sharjah, U.A.E. (ISC-Sharjah)

“Traveling alone to join the camp was easier than I expected it would be. I learned to do things myself and by meeting new students, I learned how to work in a team. Manchester City Performance Programme was the best that happened to me in my life. I considered my time at the summer camp as a small glimpse on how the future would look like.”

Emmanuel Kamau Igathe,non-SABIS® student,

Nairobi, Kenya

CAMPERS’ DAILY LIFE

Students attending the SABIS® Educational Summer Camp live in the Ashwicke Hall School dorms. Boys and girls live in separate dorms in rooms designed to house up to four students. Students are responsible for keeping their rooms tidy under the supervision of a well-trained SABIS® staff member called “House Parent.” The House Parent is responsible for the well-being of all boarding students at all times and lives in an apartment attached to the dorm for easy access.

Each student has a bed, chair, desk, and lockable wardrobe. Bed linen is changed once a week and there is a timetable for personal laundry. All the rooms are cleaned daily by school staff, Monday through Friday.

Each dormitory has a common room, a shared space that has recreational facilities such as a pool table, computers, and a lounge area. The televisions have access to satellite channels which are controlled centrally to ensure appropriateness. Students and House Parents spend quality time socializing and relaxing together here.

Dorm life is an exceptional experience. Students develop a strong sense of independence and build everlasting friendships with each passing day.
