Summary of the Talk

Laser is one of the greatest Inventions of this century. This invention is possible with a

series of great thoughts from the greatest minds of all time. The talk takes you to the journey

of lasers in the last sixty years. With the historic background starting from Einstein, this talk

will give an idea how the laser happened and life after that invention. Today, lasers have

become a part of everyday life, as you scan an object in a supermarket, or you use internet in

your smartphones or you go to a doctor for an eye surgery or drill a hole in a metal

piece. Now lasers can be found in a key chain and lasers continue to revolutionize the future.

Once thought as a "Problem looking for a solution", now laser has become "a solution for

every problem". As we celebrated the International Day of Light in the month of May, this

talk will make you feel different when you think of light and lasers!!
