department of blplofcy at St. John Fisher- CoUege will address the Daughters of American Colonists of Medina, in his 1954-1955 series of travel lectures on the W*est Indies. .
He will speak In Medina on Feb. 12. His lecture Is illustrated
jwith colored slides which Dr, Arnett has taken in these tropic al islands. Dr. Arnett Is recognized as an authority pn the West Indies and an arMit in the field of colored photography. He has traveled extensively throughout the West Indies and has lived for two years-In Panama.
Dr. Arnett received his Ph-D-degree from Cornell University In 1945. During World War „II he was section head of the Army School of Malarialogy at Fort Clayton, Panama Canal Zone, and later in charge of the Sanitation and Insect control at Avon Park Bombing Rangie. Fl«-
He is a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, Ecological So ciety of America, Entomological Society of America, American Society of Zoologists, Botanical Society of America, Society of Systematic Zoology And Albertus Magnus Guild. *
He is the founder and publisher Of the only publication in the world devoted entirely to the study of beetles, The Coleopfer-1st*' Bulletin,

There will be an orcheatra-fot| round and square dancing. Cos tumes arc optional. Thirty valuable prizes, donated by the neigh-) borhood merchants will be given for, unusual costumes and danc ing. _
In keeping with the spirit of Halloween the decorating and entertainment committee*:, are working zealously in transform ing the hall into a rendezvous of witchery, hobgoblins and spooks, festooned with skeletons and lighted pumpkins.
