Story Basket TheatreThe teacher tells interactive stories using objects. Children participate through call and response; giving suggestions for

sounds, words and gestures; and offering story ideas.

Teacher In RoleThe teacher assumes a “role” such as Mother Goose. Children are guided to

respond in role by taking a viewpoint, solving problems and creating stories as they interact with the character.
