SUMMER 2019 RECAP

And just like that another Summer has come and gone at the Jersey Cape. Mother Nature graced us with plenty of hot beach days, and perfectly cool Summer nights on the promenade. Although school has started and the crisp breeze of Fall has begun to roll in, we’d like to take a moment to recap some of our favorite moments of Summer ‘19!

Beach ServiceWith our soft kick off in Summer 2018, our Cabana and beach service was back and ready to turn heads for Summer 2019! Complete with chaise loungers, umbrellas, 8 Private Cabanas, and food delivery made to order from our very own Hemingway’s Restaurant, there isn’t much we don’t offer. Available on a first come, first serve basis- our service is open to guests and locals alike.

Summer ActivitiesOne of our favorite amenities during our Summer months is our complimentary daily activities. This summer we had weekly visits from the Cape May County Zoo, the Cape May Nature Center, Snazzy Doodle Face painters, Balloon Art by Rudy and of course the fan favorite Magic Show. New this Summer we introduced Saturday morning, family yoga classes on our oceanfront Sundeck, taught by the amazing staff at Cape May Yoga. Also our “Dive-In” movies by the outdoor pool every Tuesday night. Not to mention we are also the exclusive host of the coolest “Kid’s Only” camp in Cape May EcoVentures! What’s the rush of leaving the hotel when you’re staying at a resort ?!

They were here giving away one of their coveted ‘golden shovels’ that gave the winner the opportunity to win their part of $102,000 worth of prizes! What a fun day!

If you haven’t noticed, the Grand has received quite the face lift within the past year. It started with our newly remodeled lobby and moved onto the entire Queen’s Inn side of the building. Each room has received a total remodel from the flooring, decor, bathrooms and even new appliances. Taking a bright, modern beach shack approach, these rooms are sure to make you feel like your vacation doesn’t end when you step off the beach.

Our Grand Ballroom, which is our second largest in size, has recently undergone a make over of its own. With renovations completed, it now hawks the same modern ‘beach chic’ vibes. Now dressed in lighter colors, the room feels twice the size. Barn doors complete the look and add modern day charm. If the exteriors of the room wasn’t enough to ‘wow’ you, it is also equipped with a state of the art lighting and audio system that will take your event to the next level.

We are always striving to offer our guests the best possible experience while staying at The Grand. We are continuously looking for ways to better your experience and make sure it’s unforgettable.
