The ArtemiS project displays everything you need in five clearly arranged Pools: Your material (time-domain signals), your tools (e.g. filters, analyses and statistic evaluations) and your destination (e.g. a diagram or a file export). The functions inserted into any pool can be enabled / disabled for the current calculation via the checkboxes.

The scope of analysis possibilities in ArtemiS ranges from common standardized methods, such as level calculation and octave analysis, to the calculation of transfer functions and the determination of psychoacoustic parameters and even includes unique analysis methods, such as the “Relative Approach” and analyses based on a hearing model.

The ArtemiS Mark AnalyzerWhat You See is What You Hear!

The Mark Analyzer allows a time-domain signal to be analyzed in detail with your eyes and ears simultaneously. The playback cursor shows the current playback position in the analysis diagram. And with the playback dialog, you can play the desired channels at their original speed, faster, slower or with different volumes. Even structure-borne sound can be played back!

(Playback requires ATP 01 in addition to the ArtemiS Basic Version.)

The Interactive Filters

In the Mark Analyzer, a file can be filtered interactively, i.e. the effect of the filters can be seen and heard immediately. That way, you can find out which characteristics dominate the sound impression, and predict which modifications could lead to a better sound.

No matter if you want to record 2 or 200 channels – recording is straightforward using the HEAD Recorder included with ArtemiS. The HEAD Recorder is easy to use and programmable, and it provides various real-time displays and interfaces to ArtemiS and the HEAD Data Portal.

Automation Possibilities

Various automation possibilities facilitate your work, such as the Flow Control function for programming simple procedures (no prior programming knowledge required), or the COM interface for the automation of more complex sequences using a programming language like Visual Basic.

The ArtemiS Basic Version includes a report generator, which automatically creates standardized reports. With ATP 11, you can even customize the report templates with your company logo. Standardized reports facilitate the documentation and archiving of your work.

To help you present your results in an appropriate format, ArtemiS offers you a wide range of display options: For example, you can arrange the diagrams in the result window, customize the color range etc. Or you create an AVI video with the 3D viewer to present your spectrograms in an even more vivid way. By the way: You can also play back videos in ArtemiS – e.g. synchronously to the playback cursor in the Mark Analyzer.
