Hello everyone, My names Joshua Lopez, an advertising design

major, currently attending City Tech, located within Brooklyn. I will like to introduce my mission. My mission is to create a art blog which is generally divided into three subscripts of what makes a design/art impactful and innovative. such as The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly of art/design. Hopefully people will be able to compare and contrast different types of design, and ultimately find out what makes a great design from a bad one. Or jus a plain ole ugly one.

Mission Statement

While visiting my blog, you can expect design and art, whether modern or old, to spring up from time to time, to give the viewer a chance to understand whether young or old, what makes a design last forever? What makes it innovative? What makes it good, bad or ugly? Hopefully this will up bring great discussions on designs, and insight to those who are new to the art world to be able to express themselves.

Things to expect, and ponder on

When stepping foot into my blog series, you can expect a plethora of pictures where I post up, and then from my point of view, rate and describe why I think it’s either a good, bad or ugly design. I hope this will encourage people to join me and help out too. You can upload your own photo’s and we can discuss as a whole, this way insight and knowledge can spread. Besides its real fun, and im looking forward to what you guys actually think.

For my guest blog, I will like to give a shout out to my friend Marlon Palmer and his blog. His blog contains great reviews on art styles, varying from different regions. So you can expect anime to cartoon art. I can relate because like my blog, Marlon compare’s and contrasts the art styles of each cartoon and further describes the techniques and artwork used, like how I compare and contrast art/design.
