Story of an oncology patient’s father who painted a mural of fish under the sea in the Pediatrics waiting room
and the therapeutic effects on caregiver staff, patients and their families.
An Oncology patient's Father (Mr. Greenwood) saw a plain empty wall in our waiting room area. He volunteered
to use his professional talent and paint the walls with fish. It turned a boring waiting area into a nice decorative,
relaxing, and engaging family centered area. He demonstrated his appreciation for the trust and love he
established for the staff that cared for his son during his chemotherapy treatment.
