CHAIRWOMAN’S MESSAGE

Hello friends,

Hope you and your families are well. We’re all now very thankful the vaccine process is finally underway and soon we’ll all feel, and be, much safer. While all this unfolds we want to assure you we will continue to faithfully follow all our existing health and safety protocols. We care for our members and patrons and take this responsibility seriously.

You’ll see as you review this March newsletter that due to the pandemic we’re still rescheduling some live performances, moving them to dates later in the year. Yet, we’ve added a few additional concerts, so please check this newsletter or visit our website for the most up to date activities. On studio classes, our Education Directors have been tremendously busy creating new art, music, film, dance and theatre classes alongside many of your favorites.

March is a fantastic month for the arts! Our final National Art Festival of the season is March 6-7 in beautiful Riverside Park. Being outdoors in the fresh air is a terrific way to safely enjoy and share the arts. March 15-19 is our Spring Break Camp at the Performing Art Center. Kids ages 4-18 are welcome to take part in our new and innovative programming. And, in our galleries, don’t miss the unique exhibitions of awe-inspiring artwork created right here in our diverse and creative community.

Also, save these dates, May 21-23, for the Bonita Springs International Film Festival. We will be presenting great films from around the world, complemented by workshops, Q & A sessions with filmmakers, live music, great food and more.

As always, thank you so much for your membership, your patronage and especially for your art!

Best regards,

Patt2020-2021 Chairwoman

A Charitable Bequest is one of the easiest ways to leave a lasting impact on the Centers for the Arts, and one of the easiest gifts to make. It is an excellent way to create a lasting memorial. Imagine the thousands of lives your gift will touch as time goes on—future generations, all ages, enjoying the benefits of visual and performing arts, benefiting from your foresight.

With the help of an attorney, you can include language in your will or trust specifying a gift to be made to family, friends, or the Centers for the Arts as part of your estate plan, or you can make a bequest using a beneficiary designation form.

If you would like to discuss ways to make a charitable bequest, please contact our office at 239-495-8989 and ask for Susan Bridges, President or Kelly Liu, Development Director. You may also email us at [email protected] or [email protected].
