How common is burglary?• Every 37 seconds a home somewhere in Britain is burgled.• Every year there are over 1 million burglaries and attempted burglaries.• 20% of households experience more than one incident a year. 13% are burgled twice and 7% three or more times.• Between 1981 and 1993 burglaries increased by 137%. There was a decline through the rest of the 1990’s but which has now leveled off and 2002 showed a 5% annual increase. Aggravated burglary (where the occupiers are home at the time) rose 14% in 2002.

My Conclusion From the questionnaire I conclude that the majority of persons
questioned would like their property and out buildings to be better secure, however the driving factor that the vast majority want from their security system is reliability and more importantly affordability. Therefore cost would be the major factor.
I have deduced that 80% of the people that I asked said that they would like the product to they want a system that the security code can be changed, this will be because they can change there pass code if they feel that there security has been compromised, this makes the user feel that bit safer.

Design brief My design will be to use a switch that will cover all access points to the building, such as doors and windows. It will consist of two contacts that when separated will set of an audio and visual alarm system.
The alarm will sound and flash until you put a main key code into the main alarm box.
The contact switches will be small to ensure they are discrete.
These can be easily installed into door and window frames and linked internally throughout the building.
My final design brief
My final design brief will be a baby bath water temperature alarm. This is because I have done some research on security in the family and one of which is on the children of the family.
Within the family one child of the family is a new addition to the family. In this case the new bourn baby, many mothers with a new bourn take care of them as much as they can but when it comes to bath time some mothers do not know how hot the water really is.Many mothers try a method that they think is the best way on checking if the water is to hot or to cold.
The average temperature for a baby to enter the bath is 37 degrees and a average persons temperature is 34 degrees which this is a big divergence between a baby's and a fully grown person.

1.The purpose of my product is to protect baby's from being burnt.
the reason for this is because many baby`s are being burnt because of the parent or guardian does not know how hot the temperature of the bath water relay is.
2.My product will sense the temperature of the bath water is not to hot or to cold.
This is because many of the parents do not realise how hot the water is. For there baby . And to fulfil the products propose.

For my product to fulfil is primary propose.

5. My power supply will be a battery. The reason for this is because it will be easy to buy for local shops and they would be much better for my circuit.

The reason for this is that it will work and it will be safe for the user.
7.Myproduct will have a on and off switch. So that the user can turn it on and off very easy and it can save some of the battery supple.

Three circuit diagrams from the web
This PCB circuit has 3 LED`s and has a battery supply and has nearly the same layout as my circuit has. Also it has 5 resistors but it does not have a buzzer.
this PCB circuit has only one LED but it has a buzzer which helps with any one who has trouble hearing as well as that it has a latch switch so that it can be turned on and off plus an battery supple so that the circuit can work. Even though it is more complex than the first one and the second one.
This PCB circuit has a buzzer not like the first circuit witch it does not have and has a latch switch as well so that it can be turned on and off plus it has probes to sense the temperature of the water a power supply so that it works as well.

My chosen circuit This is my chosen circuit is along the same lines as a goldey locks circuit. I chose this because it has the same function as on what I want my product circuit to do. I have desgin in a swich near the battery so that the circuit can be turned off and on without having take out the battery. This means that you can save money by not wasting battery power when you don’t need to, this will save the user in the long run.
