It is with great pleasure and anticipation that the Worship Committee and Music Ministry

Team announce the September 17th, 10:30 AM , music ministry of violinist, Jaime Jorge. As a

congregation that hosts violin lessons with Angela Schlessman, we believe it is quite fitting

that young people, particularly, should have the opportunity to share in worship with such a

talented and committed Christian musician. -- So here is the opportunity to invite your friends

and family to this significant time of worship and celebration. All will be inspired!

Jaime Jorge! His forceful, expressive mastery of the violin has delighted audiences around

the globe. Jaime has dedicated his talents to sharing the love of God through sacred and

classical concerts and special appearances the world over.

From High School auditoriums to magnificent cathedrals, from simple church programs to

Carnegie Hall, Jaime’s music can inspire, uplift, and bring peace. For over two decades,

through 15 albums and more than 2,500 concerts in North and South America, Europe,

Australia, and Asia, Jaime’s music has touched the lives of millions. It can touch yours too.

Treasures...A Royal Celebration

It’s been a great summer trip! We’ve been meeting and

greeting treasured persons, who continue to flavor our Christian

fellowship with their earnest discipleship. In that spirit, it is our pleasure today to

acknowledge Walter Burel and Lois Mae Ferrence. As you are noting in their brief “life

sketches,” both Walter and Lois have been vital persons in Gettysburg, as also other

communities where they have lived. In each locale, they bring the spirit of Christ to who

they are and what they do.

Thank you, both, for your ministry!

While we are acknowledging Shirley and Doris, we also want to say “thank you” to Judy

Kartoz, Sue Ressler, and the Membership Committee for their ongoing initiatives with our

“Treasures 2017 Celebration.” It’s been great! -- Lastly, please remember that our

culmination moment for the summer series will take place on Sunday, August 27th, when

our Membership Committee in conjunction with Jim Nett, our resident chef, will be hosting

an 11:45 AM Recognition Luncheon in Fellowship Hall . All are welcome! -- If you are able,

please register your luncheon participation as noted on the next page of this insert.
