● Wil-Cor, Inc. was founded in 1978 by Mr. Fred D. Wilson.

● Wil-Cor, Inc. formulates epoxy polyester resins for floor coatings, tank linings,grouts and adhesives.

Armor Plate® Pipe Wrap

● Armor Plate® Pipe Wrap (“APPW”) is a composite structural reinforcement pipelinerepair system that also prevents future external corrosion.

● APPW is designed to repair pipelines while in service without depressurizing orlowering the Maximum Allowable Operating Pressure (“MAOP”).

● APPW is a 3-part system (Resin, Putty and Armor Fiber™) specially designed forrepairing straight pipe, elbows, tees, risers, reducers, wrinkle bends and most anypipe configuration with external corrosion or mechanical damage.

● APPW has been validated using engineering analyses and test methods.


Armor Plate® Pipe Wrap● The APPW Repair Systems are recognized by DOT/PHMSA (“Department of

Transportation”/“Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration”) as apermanent repair product and as the model for composite repairs.

● APPW was designed to repair “external corrosion” with wall loss up to 80% of thenominal wall thickness.

● The required number of wraps of Armor Plate® Pipe Wrap is determined by usingARMOR CALC™.

● ARMOR CALC™ is an engineered and tested program that uses the pipe size,nominal pipe wall thickness, pipe grade, corrosion depth and corrosion length.

● APPW can also be used to repair “mechanical damage”, such as dents, gouges,manufactured defects or wrinkle bends.

Armor Plate® Pipe Wrap

● On a dent, gouge, manufactured defect or wrinkle bends (mechanicaldamage), the pipe wall thickness is multiplied by 1.5, then divided by thethickness of the Armor Fiber™ (.0625 inches) to determine how many wrapsto apply.

● APPW is user-friendly and must be applied by certified installers/applicators.

● APPW Kits are sold in 12.5, 25, 50 or 100 square foot Kits.

● All necessary material and equipment for application of the APPW is suppliedin each Kit.

● There are four (4) Armor Plate® Pipe Wrap Repair Systems.

● Installation Temperature: 180° F to 250° F (82° C to 121° C)

4. AP360ZED (Cold Temperature)

● Designed as a non-structural pipe coating that is more durablethan tape coatings, paint, and wax.
