Provides an alternative for LEAs looking to reduce per student costs and eliminate the burden of contract negotiation and management
Current Status of SSIS
• RFP published in November 2013• SIS vendors submitted responses
December 2013• Submitted RFP responses are in review –
expect to make declaration in April 2014
Rolling out SSIS

• What can I expect by becoming a SSIS pilot?– Signed letter of intent by LEA – Change Board Management seat/voice– Construct training models for SSIS– Determine software needs for implementation– Design implementation models– Submit dual AzEDS and normal submissions
