The Aries8 SmartTablet is a flexible, new Retail PIN-Pad that combines the features and ergonomics of current tablet technology with superior durability that retailers require for secure, customer activated payment devices. The vibrant 8” high-resolution display with capacitive touch screen, integrated physical keypad, dedicated contactless area, hybrid card reader, and integrated camera, seamlessly support a flexible payment experience including touch-free payment schemas such as those based on QR codes. Wireless communication is provided by the tablet, and wired communications for interfacing with local POS systems by an Integrated Communications Plate – which also allows fitting the Aries8 onto industry stands. PCI certified for both standard and unattended use, superior liquid resistant design and having advanced safety certifications for installation in hazardous material environments, the Aries8 SmartTablet can be integrated into virtually any retail environment, large and small alike.
