These two auctions in 2018 consolidate the bidding rounds calendar and reaffirm the ANP's commitment to the recovery of
the Brazilian oil sector.
The offshore areas on offer in the 15th Bidding Round have potential for oil discoveries in the Upper Cretaceous turbidite
reservoirs and in the pre-salt carbonates.
Unrisked in place volume for the areas on offer in both bidding rounds is around 50 billion barrels of oil.
