UnderthedirectionoftheNationalOperationsManagerandtheClinicalGovernanceTeamthepostholderwillberesponsibleforthedeliveryofhighqualitydaytodaymanagementofJigsawMedicalServicesLtdlocationswithinageographicalareaforallaspects,includingforexamplefleet,estates,equipmentetc.The post holderwill also provide leadership and advice to Paramedics, Technicians andEmergency Care Assistants within the team and refer/escalate issues to the relevantmanager. The successful candidate will be responsible for forging a close workingrelationshipwithclientswithintheirremit,liaisingwiththemdaily,handlingcomplaintsandescalationswithinameasuredtimeline.Thepositionrequiresthepostholdertohaveexperienceinmanagementofoperations,staffandfleet.Thisroleisnon-clinicalbuttheshouldthepostholderhaveabasicknowledgeofambulance operations would be desirable, but not essential and meet Jigsaw MedicalServicesLtdsaferecruitmentprocedures.MainDuties&Responsibilities

Thepost holder's primary role is tomanage staff andoversee the safe runningof themedicalprovisioninthedefinedareaofoperations.

• Procurementofmedicalandgeneralsuppliesfrompreferredsuppliers.• Providesupervision,leadershipandsupporttoallstaffwithintheJigsawteam.• RespondtoincidentsinvolvingJigsawMedicalServicesLtdstaffandvehiclestoactas

managerialsupportandliaisebetweensceneandJigsawMedicalOperationsCentreorDirectors.EmergencyDrivingqualificationwillbeprovidedifnotcurrentlyheld.

• AttendmonthlyclinicalandoperationalmeetingswiththemanagementteamandNHSpartners.

• Thepostholderwillbeofficebased foradministrationandmeetingsbutwill requireregulartravel.

• Thepostholdermayberequiredtoworkatanyofthecompany'ssitesinlinewithJigsawMedicalServicesLtdneedsintheroletocoverstaffsicknessandholiday.

• ManageandmentorstaffandsetgoalsforProfessionalDevelopmentPlans(PDP)andtoensurecontinualimprovementsisdrivenwithallindividualswithintheteamtomeetthehighCPDstandardsrequiredbytheorganisation.

• Workingwithappropriateclinical leads,trainingdepartmentandoperationsteamstodeliver inductions, SOP’s,Directives andoperational updates for thedevelopmentofstaffasrequired.

• Actively participate in undertaking operational audits (in line with Jigsaw MedicalServices Ltd policy), disseminating audit findings and actively leading theimplementationofchangestoprotocoland/orprocedure.

• Lead and manage the processes, which ensure the principles of operationalrequirementsareembeddedinpracticeandassistwithauditsandappraisalsofallteammembers.

• Maintain accurate records of vehicle repair andmaintenance,maintain cleaning anddeepcleanrecordsinaccordancewithpolicyandCQCrequirements

• To assist in operational investigations when required reporting to the NationalOperationsManagerandGovernanceteamsasappropriate.

• Conduct routine drug audits as requested by the Clinical Lead for stock levels (non-controlled).

• ProvidesupporttotheOperationalandClinicalGovernanceteamwhenrequested.• Ensure clinical supervision is achieved by the Clinical Leaders with each Paramedic,

TechnicianandECAinyourteameverysixmonthsandworkwithnewteammembersoninductionshifts.

• InductnewteammembersintorelevantlocalprocessesofJigsawMedicalServicesandOperationalprocedures.

• Maintain regular communication with Ambulance Control regarding updates andchangestopersonaland/orvehicleavailabilityandmovements.Reportandrecordalldelaysorwaitingtimeincurred.Ensurehospitalclearuptimesandmobilisationtimesaremaintainedtonationalstandards.

• Maintainaclean,tidyandorganisedbasetosupportthecrewsinatimelydespatchtodutyandinlinewiththeCQCrequirements

• To work to the values of JigsawMedical Services Ltd and display high standards ofintegrityandprofessionalismtowardsclientsandcolleagues.Tocontinuouslydevelopandupdateownknowledgeandskillswithinthejobroleandcontributetosettingownworkobjectives.
