JOE — Volume 36, Number 8, August 2010 An invitation to present research at the American Association of Endodontists Annual Session in San Antonio, Texas, April 13 – 16, 2011. Abstracts are submitted through the AAE website at www.aae.org/abstracts. Submission opens on August 5 and closes on October 15, 2010. Abstracts must be submitted online for con- sideration and will not be accepted after 5 p.m. C.S.T., on October 15. Abstracts should describe an investigation and include objectives, materials and methods, sta- tistical tests, resulting data, and for oral and poster submissions, conclusions. Abstracts may be submitted in one of the following categories. Oral research—A 10-minute presenta- tion on a completed clinical or scientific investigation with three to five minutes allocated for questions. Poster research—A 10-minute presenta- tion of a completed clinical or basic science investigation using a poster board display. Posters measure four feet high by eight feet wide. Presenters must remain near the poster for the entire half-day session. Table clinics —A five- to 10-minute presentation of a simple, time-saving procedure or technique, or an interesting scientific phenomenon. Slides, models or radiographs may be used. Presenters must remain near the table for the entire half- day session. Guidelines are now available on the AAE web- site at www.aae.org/abstracts. All submissions require an abstract. The abstract should be approximately 250 words. To allow more mem- bers to participate, only one abstract may be submitted per presenter or co-presenter.
