Ten-thirty o’clock
PREPARATION AND PRAISE
The worship of God begins this morning as you enter the Sanctuary. You are encouraged to use these moments for meditation, reflection and prayer.
The Meditation of Preparation
The child of God works not for life, but from life. We do not work to be saved, but because we are saved. - Charles Spurgeon, adapted
The Prelude “Come, Thou Almighty King” Travis
The Spoken Call to Worship Major Treadway
*The Processional Hymn No. 2 “Holy, Holy, Holy” NICAEA
Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty! Early in the morning our song shall rise to thee. Holy, holy, holy! Merciful and mighty! God in three persons, blessed Trinity!
Holy, holy, holy! All the saints adore thee, casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea; cherubim and seraphim falling down before thee, which wert and art, and evermore shalt be.
Holy, holy, holy! though the darkness hide thee, though the eye of sinful flesh thy glory may not see, only thou art holy; there is none beside thee, perfect in power, in love, and purity.
Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty! All thy works shall praise thy name, in earth, and sky, and sea; Holy, holy, holy! Merciful and mighty! God in three persons, blessed Trinity!

*The Recessional Hymn No. 539 “I Want to Walk as a Child of the Light” HOUSTON
I want to walk as a child of the light; I want to follow Jesus. God set the stars to give light to the world, the star of my life is Jesus.
Refrain:
In him there is no darkness at all; the night and the day are both alike. The Lamb is the light of the city of God: Shine in my heart, Lord Jesus.
I want to see the brightness of God; I want to look at Jesus. Clear Sun of righteousness, shine on my path, and show me the way to the Father.
Refrain:
I’m looking for the coming of Christ; I want to be with Jesus. When we have run with patience the race, we shall know the joy of Jesus.
