Are Prophecies what they claim to be?

Introduction Can anyone really tells our fate in life

or, is that fiction not reality?

Quote #1 From Text “My thought, whose murder yet is but

fantastical, shakes so my single state of man that function is smother’d in surmise, and nothing is But what is not.” (I.iii. 138-141).

Quote #2 From Text “Despair thy charm, And let the angel

whom thou still hast serv’d tell thee, Macduff was from his mother’s womb Untimely ripp’d.” (V.viii. 13-16).

How it Relates to Modern Socitey

we cannot escape the fact the prophecies exist as, it is in our daily lives; like the stories in the bible.

In Conclusion Prophecies were a main part of

Shakespeare’s and a main part of our culture, even if in Macbeth prophecies caused a lot of tragedy in the play.
