OPAL COAST ADVENTURE
Our lakeside camp near the medieval town of Ardres offers a French adventure just 2 hours from the UK by ferry and coach. With a fantastic selection of watersports and activities onsite, you’d never need to leave were it not for the lovely local markets, seaside towns and optional excursions including a local aquarium, In Flanders Field Museum, Parc Astérix and Disneyland Paris.
Fun activities include canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, kata kanuing and raft building on the lake as well as learning bushcraft skills and testing your nerves on the high ropes course, just for starters. In the evenings, you will enjoy toasting marshmallows around the campfire, team games and talent shows.
Accommodation This small camp caters for just two school groups at a time in two private tented villages sleeping up to 48 each, making this ideal for schools wishing to have exclusive use of the whole camp.
As always, each village has a central marquee for dining and socialising and a volleyball court for games. A toilet and shower block is within each reach of all villages and separate facilities are provided for party leaders.
