The adding the colourless to the frame possibly suggests isolation, poverty or loneliness. This could connect with the song with the light/colour fading highlighting the sun going down? Also the negativity within the girl’s facial features also suggests that her life is going down/coming to an end. The

Sound is jagged and the line is asking the question of who she is..... This could suggest she is a blank canvas with no identity.Next we move onto a clip where we see the Pimp of the video stealing the girl’s food at his will. This suggests power, control and venerability. The girl is allowing the man to do what he wants and is almost like a puppet to him. The domination could suggest her life...

Living off the scraps? It seems to be the only life she has and the weak smile she uses could suggest she is putting up with it because she has to. The classic old fashioned out of date furniture possibly shows poverty and struggle.

These two shots were chosen because I feel these resemble my video for try again. However it is reversed with jack playing the victim and Mary being the puppeteer. The suggestions in these two shots coincide with my theme and style. The idea of poverty and struggle for the girl gives out the sympathy factor for her and not him. In my video I wanted it to be Jack the audience sympathies with, not Mary. However I want equal feelings for both characters at the end unlike in this video where you detest the man throughout. The lack of colour in the first shot is what I want for my video or possibly black and white to make it as neutral as possible.
