ABOUT THE CONSORTIUM
Objective:
"Reduce the scope of substance abuse and related consequences through education, awareness, prevention, and access to services." -from the SOAR Regional Blueprint (goal 4.3)
Mission:
To integrate treatment and management of substance use disorder into the fabric of community services, creating an environment of support, coordination and improved access to care for all people affected.
How will we do it?
We must work together to create effective change! This consortium works with the ‘collective impact model.’ This model brings together different organizations and individuals around a shared goal. Combining resources and efforts from federal, state, and local levels we are able to build a strong and effective movement in our
community.
