One is similar with the Major Locrian Scale and the other is similar with the Diminished Scale. The scale illustrated below in all twelve notes is the former and is easy to memorize because compared to the Major scale the fifth, sixth and seventh is lowered half a step and the rest of the notes are just the same as in the major.
