Promote your Company by Donating to the ARA Foundation Auction

Your donation of equipment or another item for the ARA Foundation Charity Auction will increase the exposure for your company to rental operators who are dedicated to supporting the Foundation and important industry programs including the scholarship program and the disaster relief and recovery programs. The 2017 Charity Auction at The Rental Show® raised more than $68,000 to support the industry and these programs.

More than 350 industry professional attend the ARA Foundation Charity Auction and Reception. Your donation offers you visibility to the entire rental industry through the following marketing opportunities:

• Listing in all marketing done for the charity auction including Rental Management magazine, Rental Pulse e-newsletter and the Show website at The RentalShow.com.

• Your company name, logo and donation, including a color photo and donation description, on both the ARA Foundation and Show websites.

• Your company logo displayed in ARA Foundation advertisements in both the January and February 2018 issues of Rental Management and The Rental Show Directory distributed on site in New Orleans.

• Your company and item donation information included in official auction bid book produced by Ritchie Bros. and distributed to all registered auction bidders on site in New Orleans.

• Recognition signage for your trade show booth at The Rental Show. • Recognition during the live auction on Feb. 20, 2018.

The American Rental Association Foundation provides rental-focused resources that benefit the entire equipment rental industry. Its mission is to create educational opportunities, build relationships and aid the industry – currently accomplished through an educational scholarship program, the rental industry disaster relief and recovery programs, a young professionals program and the international rental business leadership program.

The ARA Foundation is sponsoring a live fundraising auction on Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018, at The Rental Show© in New Orleans to support the Foundation’s mission and programs. With completion of this Donation Agreement you consent to donate an item for use in the auction and agree to the following conditions of the donation:

• If you are donating equipment, the item you are contributing is required to be identified and displayed in your booth at The Rental Show. Your company is responsible for all shipping charges to transport the equipment to your trade show booth.

• If you are donating a tangible item other than equipment, you may either display the item or an exact photo of the item in your booth.• The ARA Foundation will provide signage to note your company’s contribution and participation in the auction.• Shipping arrangements are to be made between the purchaser and your company upon completion of the auction. Your company will be

responsible for shipping charges within the continental United States for delivery of the equipment or item to the purchaser’s location.• Your donation is eligible to be deducted from your annual tax return (at production value for equipment). The shipping cost incurred in

transporting the equipment to your trade show booth in New Orleans as well as shipping cost to the purchaser also is deductible. (See IRS Publication 526 for further guidance or contact ARA CFO Marcy Johnson at 800-334-2177, ext. 224.)

• A limited number of donations will be accepted for the auction. The ARA Foundation reserves the right to limit the number and type of items in various categories.
