MEMORANDUM

Aladdin Plating Wells BVWST Project 20610March 9, 1993

To: Steve Andersen '

From: Chris Beetham

I have taken a look at the sampling summary sheets from the RI/FS to check the yields fromthe shallow and intermediate depth wells. The following is a summary of my findings for thewells:

• The only well which yielded three well volumes when purged and did not go drywas MW03-OB.

• Only three other wells produced three well volumes when purged, but went dry. These are MW09-OB, MW11-OB, and MW14-OB.

• The remainder of the shallow (OB) wells and all three intermediate depth wells .,(MW01-AW, MW04-SA, and MW04-DA) went dry after purging generally twowell volumes or less.

The information for these wells was consistent between Round 3 (December 1991) andRound 4 (April 1992). However, water levels within the wells were generally higher duringRound 4.
