Landa has announced production of an automatic, low-cost, spray- tub, aqueous parts washer. The SJ-5 features a conventional tub- style design with 88 directional spray orifices located on upper and lower stationary spray arms, which flood parts with hot water at a rate of up to 90 gpm. The removable parts basket is tapered in order to keep the parts in the center for a more focused and uni- form cleaning. A metal chip tray keeps parts from falling into the hot water tank. The cabinet, made of 16.gauge steel, houses an insulated wash tank made of 10. gauge steel to keep the wash wa- ter hotter longer. Circle 419 on the reader service card
