Magnus’s Eco-PROFILe was set up in an effort to identify a product’s main impact factors so that its environmental and toxicological characteristics can be improved.

The Magnus Eco-PROFILe is a score given to a product inrelation to its environmental and toxicological profi les. The product is evaluated using the Magnus eco-design tool. This involves assigning a score to the product using nine criteria: biodegradability, the renewable content of the rawmaterials, skin corrosivity, infl ammability, oral toxicity,aquatic ecotoxicity, the VOC content, compliance of waste withlegislation, and CMR content. The sum of these scores is the Magnus Eco-PROFILe.
