case, once started, all rider must maintain their lane until the hole shot buoy. (as per drawing)

“The illustrating drawing should be edited, move the dotted line, which represents the starting lane-maintain point,

to the Hole Shot.”

Holders:

Ski Division: 1 holder and riders must keep both feet at least one foot on the ground until the race starts.

Justification

The description in illustrating drawing “MAINTAIN YOU LANE UNTIL THIS POINT” does not cohere with the rules

written “all rider must maintain their lane until the hole shot buoy”, therefore the illustrating drawing should be

edited, move the dotted line, which represents the maintain point, to the Hole Shot, in order to make the illustration

more accurate.

In the actual races, we see riders starting with only one leg on the ground and the other leg on the ski, we are not

sure if this description is correct.

Proposed text

305.07 - PODIUM

The first three riders should go to the podium according to race instructions. The riders must attend the podium

ceremony with the Wetsuits, the helmet and the official racing bib. A rider must attend the podium ceremony.

Mandatory attire is: wetsuit, helmet and the official racing bib.

312.01.01 – FINES

...

Not Wearing racing bib (when mandatory 200 €)

Not respecting podium ceremony, as per rule 305.07 (Aquabike committee to decide on the amount of fine)

Justification

First part clarifies that attendance is mandatory, and the second part introduces a fine.

At the moment there is no penalty for missing the podium ceremony.

This year at the European Championship two riders in two different classes were not present on the podium, which

diminishes the efforts of other riders on the podium, disrespects the competition in general, and looks

unprofessional at the event and in media.

Proposed text 502 - RUNABOUT

502.01 - RUNABOUT CATEGORY GP4

05) Fuel must be as recommended by manufacturer regular unleaded gasoline RON 95-98, 95E10.

05) Fuel must be made available on petrol stations of the organizer country, as regular unleaded gasoline

RON 95-98 -100, 95E10. All other fuel types are not allowed to use.

Same fuel regulations are proposed to all GP4, GP3 and GP2 classes for runabout and ski classes as well:

501.01 05) SKI DIVISION CATEGORY GP3

501.02 05)- SKI DIVISION CATEGORY GP2

501.04 05) SKI DIVISION CATEGORY GP4

502.02 05) RUNABOUT CATEGORY GP3

502.03 05} RUNABOUT CATEGORY GP2

Justification

Different countries are providing 98 fuels on different “marketing" system. Some countries, for example Hungary is

not selling 98 but 100. And still the quality sometimes is better for the 98 in Italy. Needs to be clarified.

This rule proposal is a clarification for all classes below GP1 class. It can cause the same advantage in GP3-2 class like

in Runabout GP4 by using alternate fuels (ethanol, 102 race fuels..). These classes are more for stock and lower

budget entering the sport. It can ruin all the meaning of a stock racing.

Justification Grinding and polishing the hull has very little effect compared to the type of competition where the boat is used.

For example: grinding and polishing the hull affects the performance of the vessel less than the difference in driver

weight or water conditions.

But it helps a lot in the "entry class" with minimal budgets to maintain and use the same hull for a long time by fixing

it and maintaining

On such a light vessel there are many factors that can affect performance, and this is one that affects with a very

small share compared to the benefit that can contribute in that "ENRTY-LOW COST class"

Justification

When programming original CDI-ECU-s the timing curve might be changed. With aftermarket (MOTEC, etc..) possible

to put more curves to add ant he ECU. The ones who have it, can have mapping over the limit for start and

close·racing situation and keep themselves in position against others. This option is against the aim of GP2 (stock,

low modified) class. No real race, skills count on track but money and a let say. turbo boost" button. It is unnormal

advantage. Must be regulated.
