Spend the afternoon with Suquamish Tribe Biologist Paul Dorn. After watching a short movie, join us for walk down to the beach where we will take water quality measurements and look at the sea life that surrounds us.
Join us for a lecture by Dr. Exu Mates and Robin Tharter on the behavior of crows. Dr. Mates research at the University of Washington is part of ongoing study of the iconic Northwest Bird.

Inspired by a mix of pop icons and traditional Salish design, Artist Jeffrey Veregge’s work bridges contemporary Native America with Mainstream American culture. Join us for a reception with the artist and his work.
Learn about the first works Veregge made, his study with a Tsimshian Master Carver, and why he chose pop culture icons as subjects for his current works in a lecture by the artist.
See first-hand how Veregge uses Salish formline designs in his works, and the techniques he uses to merge two disciplines during a demonstration with the artist.
