God sent His son, they called Him Jesus He came to love, heal, and forgive.

He lived and died to buy my pardon, An empty grave is there to prove my

Savior lives.

And then one day I'll cross the river, I'll fight life's final war with pain.

And then as death gives way to victory, I'll see the lights of glory and I'll know

He lives.

Because He lives, I can face tomorrow. Because He lives, All fear is gone!

Because I know He holds the future And life is worth the living just because

He lives!

Amazing Grace

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,

That saved a wretch like me....

I once was lost but now am found

Was blind, but now, I see.

T'was Grace that taught...

my heart to fear.

And Grace, my fears relieved.

How precious did that Grace appear...

the hour I first believed.

Through many dangers, toils and

snares...

we have already come.

T'was Grace that brought us safe

thus far...

and Grace will lead us home.

We are so glad you chose to stop in today and worship

with us. Hopefully, your visit has been a pleasant

experience and you felt welcome when you entered

the doors.

Philippians 3:10 states: That I may know Him (intimately becoming deeply acquainted with Him, as my complete Savior); experiencing the Power of His resurrection (which overflows and is active in all believers, giving us victory to deny our fleshly and sinful desires, take up my cross daily and follow His instruction); that I may share the fellowship of His sufferings by transforming spiritually, into His likeness.

As Easter approaches, all believers should reflect on the risen Savior Jesus Christ and the Awesome price that was paid for our redemption.

to learn something that you may not know about our

members.

Murray was born April 6th and Lisa was born on July 30th. These two are both graduates of Hughes High School. In fact, they first met at school in 1980 and were married June 6, 1987. How long have you been a member of New Lake Grove ? Murray has been a member of New Lake Grove for the last 39 years and Lisa Jenkins has been a member for the last 25 years. Tell Us About your Family We have 2 children - Quianna, 28 & Justin, 24 1 grandson - Zaiden ( who will be 1yr. old April 22nd) What are some interesting places you’ve visited or lived? We have lived in 2 other states North Carolina & Tennessee. Murray and I both enjoy travelling when time permits. We’ve visited Mexico, The Virgin Islands, Washington D.C. and New York. What some people may or may not know is that Murray has had the opportunity to visit Jerusalem. Tell us about your jobs / hobbies? After years of working in automotive repair industry and accounting field...Murray and I decided to trust God and step out on our Faith and open our own business Elite Service Automotive in 2011. Then in 2018 by the grace of God and the support of family and friends we purchased a building and expanded into sales. Murray & I would like to personally thank Sis. Marva Henderson for speaking this into our lives 2 years ago. Murray likes to fish, hunt or do anything outside. I enjoy watching movies, but our favorite hobby together is gardening. What auxiliaries are/were you involved with at New Lake Grove? Murray currently serves as the Assistant Sunday School Superintendent, one of the Recreation directors and a Vacation Bible School teacher for the last 2 years. What is your favorite Bible verse? Murray - 2 Corinthians 12:9 “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” Lisa - “O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in Him.” What is your favorite song?
