People have stepped forward to be on our Board of Officer’s, and they will be installed on April 23rd. As of now the slate of Officers will be . . . . Having said all this, we still have work ahead of us. We need volunteers in all areas. Kitchen, Cooks, Dishwashers, Serv- ers, bartenders, Lodge cleaning, Mainte- nance of Lodge, inside and outside areas. If you can help, please talk to any Board member. It can be one hour, one day, once a week or once a month. Thank you for your help in saving the Lodge our Fathers and Mothers loved so much. Lodge to receive Spring Flowers Our Lodge will again have a pleasant appearance at the front entrance, courtesy of the Boone County Gardeners. Dick Masanz will head up the selection of flowers and plants which will be on display for all our members to enjoy. Once again, it is time to start thinking about nice weather, which also means that the Horseshoe League will be starting up again. The League runs for 11 weeks on Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm during the months of May through July, with a banquet August 1st. The League is a great way to get a little exercise while sharing camaraderie with other Moose mem- bers. Beer and pop are available for purchase. Moose membership is required. The Moose is offering First Responders, Fire, Police, a free one-year membership if joined by April 30th. John Reynen 2017 “Moose of the Year”

Each year the Board of Officer’s select several of our

Lodge helping in serving our membership. From those

selected the Officer’s then vote for the one who they

nance of Lodge, inside and outside areas.

Lodge to receive Spring Flowers

Our Lodge will again have a pleasant appearance

at the front entrance, courtesy of the Boone

County Gardeners. Dick Masanz will head up the

selection of flowers and plants which will be on

display for all our members to enjoy.

which also means that the Horseshoe League will be starting

Greetings one and all. This will be

my last letter to you, the membership

as the Governor of our Lodge. I will

be stepping down and I will be the

Past Governor for the next year.

You will have a whole new Board of

Officers taking over on May 1st. They

will have fresh ideas and they will

need YOUR help to implement these

ideas as well.

I am asking that you give this new

Board all your support as they con-

tinue to move forward in making our

Lodge successful.

Your incoming Governor has been a

Governor before, at another Lodge in

Florida, so he will not be totally new

to the position. He has the experience

I want to thank the present Board of

Officer’s for their hard work and dedi-

cation that they have put forth this last

year. Without them your Lodge would

not be where it is today. It would not

be existing today without these men

that stepped up to make it happen.

We, the men and women of this

Lodge, must also recognize the

WOTM Officers, and members who

also worked hard this past year to

keep our Lodge moving in the right

direction. Working together is the

only way for our Lodge to be success-

ful in the future.

as Senior Regent. I would like to

thank all of you who helped in any

way this past year. My Board of Offi-

cers, Pat Walker for helping with the

Bingo Food Window and Joan Feveda

for being there when we need her.

A big thank you to my husband

Bernie Parisot, who was our Fryer

and dish washer, we do appreciate

you. Thank you to Dick and Chris

Masanz for all that they did.

Monday, March 26th. We only have

two ladies running for Office. Angela

Sandeen for Recorder and Pattie Lee

for Secretary/Treasurer and I will be

the Jr. Grand Regent.

Ladies please help so our Chapter

doesn’t close. We need a Senior Re-

gent, Jr. Regent, Guide, Assistant

Guide and 5 Chairman. Ladies please

let us know if you can help in any

way, it will be appreciated.

We will be having a Bake Sale, Fri-

day, April 6th, from 5:30 to 8:00 pm.

Donations for the Bake Sale are

needed.
