Mass Cards and Spiritual Bouquets

Parishioners are welcome to come to the office to

request a Mass Card or a Spiritual Bouquet. The

Mass Card is a remembrance by which we offer an

announced Mass for the repose of the soul of the

deceased person or for the intentions of the living.

The Spiritual Bouquet is an enrollments in which

we remember the person enrolled at Mass offered

every week for both living and deceased.

Adults from the Holy Cross Ca-

thedral, spend some time cele-

brating Our Catholic faith with Pope Francis and

3 Million Catholic young people from around the

world. We need to fundraise for our trip. We will

be selling Easter Baskets Small($7) Medium

($15) Large ($20), Religious items and raffles (if

you wish your religious article to be Blessed by

Pope Francis we will take it with us during our

pilgrimage). Look for us after Sunday Mass

downstairs or outside. Please keep us in your

prayers and we will pray for you during our pil-

This week’s second collection April 23 & 24

supports three important national Catholic mis-

sions. The Military Archdiocese collection pro-

vides for Catholic chaplains throughout the world

for American servicemen and servicewomen. The

Home Missions collection subsidizes the evangeli-

zation and formation activities of mission dioceses.

The Black and Native American collection

strengthens evangelization and outreach programs

that serve the Native American, Alaska Native, and

Black Catholic communities in the United States.

All are aware of the difficult parking situation at

the Cathedral during the construction on the former

parking lot. Until the new underground parking lot

is ready next year, we have identified the following

parking garages / lots in the area. We cannot ac-

commodate parking in the school yard.

rate at 500 & 540 Harrison increases from $5/day

to $10/day until October 31st*

ORGAN RECITAL

Sunday, April 24 at 3:00 p.m. Gary Desmond,

Deputy Organist of Bath Abbey, Great Britain, will

present a concert featuring music of Andriessen,

Bach, Bridge, Bédard, Franck and Vierne, on our

historic E. & G. G. Hook & Hastings Organ. The

concert is free and open to the public. A free-will

offering for the Cathedral Organ Restoration Fund
