12 Hours of Prayer For Palliative Care

FRIDAY MAY 5TH, 2017 8:00 am – 8:00 pm in the Church

Sponsored by CWL

The CWL has put forth a two-pronged approach to ask the Federal Government to fund Palliative Care and thereby eliminate all Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide. The first is a day of prayer:

Rosary: 12:00 Noon and 6:00 pm Prayers to Sacred Heart of Jesus & Immaculate Heart of Mary: 10:00 am Chaplets of Divine Mercy: 3:00 pm EUTHANASIA DECEPTION video: 7:00 – 8:00 pm. Lunch and a question and answer period to follow.

Secondly, you are asked to sign the petition in the foyer. Let your voice be heard! Let the Government know that we stand for life in all its stages. We will also be taking donations to palliative care facilities in our city on May 5th. Please consider taking time for prayer and action!

TF31: Thinking About the Resurrection What better time to sit down and do some serious thinking about the fact of the Resurrection. All four Gospels assert it, our Creeds profess it, and Saint Paul boldly declares that “if Christ has not been raised, then our proclamation has been in vain and your faith has been in vain.” (1 Cor 15:14). Brett and Eric discuss what happened in the tomb on that Easter Sunday 2000 years ago and what the Resurrection means for us today. http://thinkingfaith.libsyn.com/tf31-thinking-about-the-resurrection MARCH FOR LIFE Thursday, May 11th from 12:30 to 4:00, at the Regina Legislative Grounds 12:30 Mass at Christ the King (3239 Garnet Rd), 1:00-3:00 Registration at the Legislative Grounds 1:30 March from Christ the King to the Legislative Grounds, 2:00 Opening prayers, program, and group picture, 3:00-4:00 March for Life & Silent Witness on Albert St. For information: Colette Stang-Macklin - 1–306-753-9798 Holy Child Parish Garage Sale - Please support us at our sale on May 4,5,6 hours 9am – 8pm daily. Everyone Invited...future volunteers are welcome to attend! “Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, ‘Peace be with you.’” John 20:19 Are you good at making people feel welcome? When you meet someone new, a new neighbor, a new work colleague, a new parishioner, do you make them feel at home? Many of us can probably do a much better job at this. When we make people feel welcome, we make them feel like they are included instead of being excluded. A simple “hello” and a smile goes a long way!
